About this product

Leading up to Stop Staring at the Shadows, $uicideboy$ had already made a home in the darkness, swirling sinister, Juicy J-indebted soundscapes with punk melodies, nihilistic lyrics, and sprightly triple-time flows that sound like a devil's incantation. From the time they dropped their first projects in 2014, the duo comprising $crim and Ruby da Cherry merged the past and present for dozens of exhilarating releases that could be hedonistic, reflective, and cathartic-the type of transformation that happens when the sky is jet black. Their grim, surrealistic aesthetic remains on Stop Staring, with traces of profound humanity sandwiched between pummeling flows and hymns to opiates. Limited purple and black marbled vinyl LP pressing.

Second album from Cinematic Retro Wave Prodigy Confrontational. The tracks on 'Kingdom of Night' sounds darker, deeper and heavier than ever before, with a deliberate focus on creating some classic anthems with relentless beats, killer melodies and a really driving chorus. Featuring Cody Carpenter on InchCrimson CurtainsInch, Ugo Laurenti (the Italian composer who scored Pupi Avati's 'Nocturnal Voices') on InchMidnight WingsInch, and the haunting voice of Hélène de Thoury (of French cold-wave act Hante) on InchKeep FaithInch.

Phantoms - This Can't Be Everything - VINYL LP

Not Yet Reviewed

Limited colored vinyl LP pressing. Phantoms signs to Odesza's Foreign Family Collective imprint. The album focuses on themes surrounding escape and how escaping one situation can simply leave you with a new concept of confinement - breaking out of one loop or cycle can just land you right in a new one. While this may be somewhat fatalist on first read the idea is that accepting this is actually a rather triumphant feat and can help to break these repeating cycles.
