My note 4 was needing to be charged every few hours. That was a pain but I actually could deal with that. The real problem was that the battery would go from 35 percent to zero in 1 second. So I ordered this battery from best buy. While out shopping, I ended up buying a new $900 phone, partially because my research led me to believe that once you replace a phone's battery, it never holds a charge well. Anyway, battery arrives and I popped it in my note 4. Basically it didn't hold a charge worth crap. So I gave up on it and went with my brand new shiny recently purchased phone. Well that phone was a bust so I ended up returning it. So I decided to follow suggestions and let the battery I bought, completely discharge. Then I charged it for 8 hours without turning it on. Voila! I now get a full days use of my phone off of one charge. 100% at 7am. When I go to bed at 10pm I'm at about 50%. With my use being medium...a few web searches, a bunch of texting and checking email throughout the day. Bottom line: the battery works very well. Just don't expect brand new 2018 cell phone battery time frames/usage

I wanted to wait before writing a review on a battery. I purchased this 1/6/2017 and have been using it exclusively in my Note 4 since. It lasts the entire day, often with heavy use and has not yet shut down at anything less than 1% battery life. In fact, I have had numerous occasions where the last 1-2% of battery lasts longer than I ever experienced with the OEM battery. This is the 2nd replacement I have needed. The original battery got me through 14 months, then I got an OEM Samsung battery replacement. That lasted about 6 months before it started shutting down at 14-15% randomly. I needed a more reliable battery after the Note 7 fiasco. I decided to preserve my upgrade and see if the Note 8 or Pixel 2 was better than the S8. This battery has not let me down after 7 months of use. If you're still holding on to your Note 4 for a while, I highly recommend this battery.

Like other reviews I read, I too have had my Note 4 for just over 2 years. I was constantly have to charge my phone throughout the day. If i tried to use my camera or view videos or postings on social media, the phone would die even if the battery was at 50% or greater. I purchased this new battery just over 2 weeks ago. It is like I have a new phone. I use my phone frequently throughout the day - mapping directions, internet research, and social media. My phone will last all day and require charging only at the end of the day (14%!!). The battery charges quickly with the Samsung Rapid Charger.

Read and follow the instructions! Went to the store and picked up the battery read the instructions and installed it. The battery was at 50%, I used it for 2 days before it was depleated. (It seemed like there was something up as it would not die). Be patient & use it up, Then charge it fully! After the battery was discharged it took a full day to charge. (Do it over night on a weekend) After that WOW look out friends, I could listen to my Mom talk to me WAY to LONG. What once was a half a day phone is now 3.5 day phone again. I am a light phone user AND, I figured out how to shut off all the battery killing, data sucking apps off. As always if your depleting the battery heavily it gets hot. Let the phone be a phone & not a pocket super computer it runs long and cool. I love my phone all over again. This is probably why the phones are made differently today :( The sale with Best Buy was smooth, As long as you are patient and can wait 3 days then drive to an actual store.

I got this battery to replace the original one in my Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It fits just fine and charges well. I followed the instructions to charge it overnight in the beginning. After owning it for several months now, I feel like the battery life has decreased a little bit from when I first bought it, but I still have about 30-40% battery life remaining by the end of the day with moderate daily usage. I am not a power user at all, and mostly just text a little and browse Facebook. I rarely watch videos on my phone, nor do I play many games. If you are a power user, I would recommend still keeping your charger handy or a second battery. For the average user, I think this battery will do just fine.

I bought this for my note 4 n it works really well. Battery life is just like how it was when I first got the phone. My phone is a Lil old bt every works perfectly fine still just the battery wasn't up to par anymore so this battery was a much cheaper solution then Goin n getting a new phone.

Lots of replacements online that look risky. Preferred to stick with company I have trusted. Battery lasts longer than my 2yr old factory one. Takes little longer to charge, think that is good sign.

I was very hesitant to buy a non samsung battery at first, but after my old battery became completely unreliable and would die at 30-40% and would take HOURS to recharge, I gave up and bought this battery. Happily it works great! It doesn't charge as fast or last as long as the old battery used to it did solve several issues like my phone randomly turning off, and it recharges slower but not HOURS like the old battery did. Direct replacement, and having my phone be reliable has made this purchase definitely worth the money!

This replacement battery, while technically the same, is different than those purchased directly from Samsung. Not to worry though: Its doing a crack job so far: Quick charging and lasts pretty much the whole day. No overheating has been noted. All in all "doing what is expected."

I read the reviews and got it as my old battery was dying at 27% and figured it was time to get a replacement. I charged it up with a fast charger ad ran it completely down until it died at 0%. That"s a good sign and a good start. I am on my phone constantly and it does seem to get hot though. Battery life with me on my phone is not that good. if Im careful about my usage and turning off wifi or BT when not needed, i can get maybe 12 hours out of it. Not sure if thats good or not.

Battery works great in my Note 4...so far. It's only been 2 days. We'll see how long it lasts. But transaction was smooth. Ordered on a Friday and received following Tuesday ( 3 days earlier than promised!)

My Note 4 would turn off as soon as my battery percentage would hit 40% so I figured it was the battery going bad. I figured I would rather try a new battery instead of paying for a new phone. They did not carry the battery in store so I ordered it and had it with in just a few days. Took the old battery out and put the new one in and it works just like it did the day I bought the phone.

At first I was disappointed to find this wasn't a proprietary battery but then realized it's probably best considering all the issues Samsung is having these days. Charges quickly and lasts about as long as the original battery when it was new. It did get really hot once with heavy use while charging. But I've always experienced some of that with any battery I've used.

It arrives with 57% charged. I let it fully charged, without turning the phone on, and used it on YouTube for 45 minutes, web surfing anther half hour, work on Microsoft Excel about half hour and regular email check and phone calls all day and when it comes its 24 hour anniversary the battery has 9% and still works; the phone didn't shut off like my old battery did when it reach 35%. For me, it feels like the battery last longer on its second and consecutive charges. I'm glad I buy this battery.

I really like how the batteries last longer than the original ones. Being new doesn't hurt. but they fit perfect.

We bought this after trying several other brands which bulged on overheating .This worked well so far.

My old battery would last from 5:45 am till 6pm or so in the but abruptly shutting off around 30%. I bought a "Samsung" replacement which was just as bad. This new on works very well so far. It's lasting almost two days per charge right now and easily through a day with 40% left being on the phone 3 to 5 hrs. I hope I can update this in a month but I've been using it for 2 weeks so far and am very happy with it.

So far, about a month, this battery is working as is should. Getting the performance I got from my OEM batteries. No swelling or overheating. Here's why I bought a phone battery from Best Buy instead of online retailers. I trust Best Buy. Buying from the other businesses listed may get you a counterfeit OEM battery or very poor quality battery that can damage your phone. Such swelling up or overheating.
