Ultramagnetic MC's - Ced G X Kool Keith - VINYL LP

Import-only 180 gm vinyl LP pressing of this 1996 album from the Alternative Nu-Metal band. Life Is Peachy, their sophomore album, reached #3 on the Billboard charts and achieved platinum-selling status. With lyrics that reached out to many Post-Grunge teens backed up by a wall of heavy toned-down guitars and loud in your face Hip Hop drumming, Korn prepared themselves for a worldwide breakthrough that would happen soon after.

A cult classic in underground hip-hop, The Cenobites brings together the legendary Kool Keith and producer Godfather Don for a raw, jazz-laced collaboration that helped define the indie rap sound of the late '90s. Born in the shadows of 1990s Brooklyn and originally released on Bobbito Garcia's Fondle 'Em Records, the project evolved into a dark, hypnotic album that pushed the boundaries of underground hip-hop. Originally released as an EP in 1995 and expanded into a full-length LP in 1997-with a bonus cut added in 2000-The Cenobites LP features gritty tracks with abstract lyricism, surreal sci-fi imagery, and jazz-infused, unconventional beats. Highlights include Kool Keith's high-pitched, experimental flow (under his Rhythm X alias) and Godfather Don's distinctive production-marked by heavy horn samples and hard-hitting drums. This became a touchstone for fans of raw, boundary-pushing hip-hop. Now, for the first time ever, this definitive edition of The Cenobites arrives as a deluxe gatefold 2xLP, an exclusive limited-edition cassette tape, and a collector's CD-all packed with bonus demos and rare tracks, perfectly capturing the full scope of this iconic album for longtime listeners and collectors.
