About this product

2017 . Vacivus is one of the UK's most promising new death metal bands, following two recent EPs, Rite Of Ascension and the Nuclear Chaos 7-inch, and consistently bludgeoning the scene with their live shows. They play dark brutal metal influenced by classic old school U.S. bands, but still find their place within today's echelon, exemplified by bands such as Dead Congregation, Blood Incantation, Grave Miasma, Cruciamentum, Phrenelith etc. Temple Of The Abyss shows immense musical growth since the band's initial inception in 2013. It captures the essential elements the unrelenting brutality, a dark brooding atmosphere, infectious riffs and guitar shredding-all with a backbone laid down by a solid rhythm section, making it a death metal wonder to behold. Album Tracks 1. Premonitions 2. Towards Infinite Chasms 3. Oubliette 4. Summoning Apophis 5. Cosmological Necrotiscism 6. Black Flame Serpent 7. Filii Infernos 8. Temple of the Abyss

New Zealand's The Temple, an aural entity comprised of P.K. (guitars, bass, vocals) and J.W. (drums, lyrics), play viscerally morphing and shape-shifting death / black metal of an esoteric nature. Their self-titled debut album is an impenetrable sonic monolith that encompasses six immense tracks of tectonic shifting, inharmonious, honed and focused metal of crushing weight, searing ambience and immense magnitude. With the sprawling audial tapestry The Temple have laid out with their debut, the conveyance of this vision is one reflected through death worship and an invocation of plague, war, misery, and the cosmic apocalypse channeled through the spirit of misanthropic Gnosticism. Album Tracks 1. Prophecy Omega 2. Hell Incarcerate 3. Martyr of the Tyrant 4. Pale Horse of Pestilence 5. Wolf in the Vortex 6. Void of Scars
