Great Dash Cam, But Installation Isn’t Simple
The VanTrue Nexus 5 N5 delivers excellent video quality and surprisingly useful multi-angle coverage, but installing it took more effort than I expected. The mount only sticks well on smooth glass, and routing the cables—especially to the rear camera—requires some planning. Once everything was finally set up, though, the experience was great. The app is easy to use, the footage is super clear day and night, and the extra camera views are genuinely helpful. Overall, a high-quality dash cam that performs really well—but the tricky installation keeps it from being a full five stars.

Very Good Dash Cam
A very good dash cam with 360 degree coverage and incredible night vision. Also has a rear cabin camera that completely covers the back side of the car as well as the back seats. The parking mode works great to record any movement around the vehicle.

Bad drivers beware!
I’ll be honest—installing the Vantrue Nexus 5 was a little trickier than I expected at first. The key ended up being avoiding the slightly textured area of my windshield; once I moved it to a smooth spot, everything went on perfectly. After that, the experience completely turned around. The video quality is excellent—super clear, both day and night—and the app makes everything incredibly easy to access and manage. Once it was set up correctly, using it became a total breeze. If you want a high-quality dash cam with really impressive footage, this one is absolutely worth it.
