XFM has said 'might as well be called 'The Libertines and Friends', which is fine... whatever. This album proves to be 100% authentic without any of the clean-shaven nonsensical cliques that an over-produced, over-rich record tag would have made. The DIY ethics of the Rhythm Factory prevails, being a small independent club, and in the same way that the concerts are often last-minute and rather hectic, this album was released, produced & conceived in any which way - in the space of less than 7 weeks, apart from the recordings (a mix of bootleg's and camcorder recordings) from the past years gigs.
