Various Artists - Classical Chillout - VINYL LP

This piano journey reimagines classical masterpieces as the ultimate sophisticated lounge soundtrack, it seamlessly blends the timeless romance of the past with the contemplative calm of the present. From the shimmering moonlight of Debussy's Clair de lune and the tranquil depths of the Beethoven Pathétique slow movement, to the introspective warmth of Brahms's Intermezzo and Grieg's Notturno, the selection flows like a late-night conversation. The most popular neoclassical composers of our century like Joep Beving, Max Richter, Ludovico Einaudi, Jóhann Jóhannsson and Yann Tiersen contribute their hypnotic, cinematic textures, creating a mood that is both deeply relaxing and intellectually engaging. A perfect accompaniment for unwinding, offering a journey through elegant, meditative solo piano music. Album Tracks 1. Lyric Pieces, Book 5, Op. 54 No. 4, Notturno 2. Meddle is the sixth studio album by Pink Floyd, released on 31 October 1971 by Harvest Records. It was produced between the band's touring commitments, from January to August 1971. The album was recorded at a series of locations around London, including Abbey Road Studios and Morgan Studios. With no material to work with and no clear idea of the album's direction, the group devised a series of novel experiments which eventually inspired the album's signature track, InchEchoesInch. Although many of the band's later albums would be unified by a central theme with lyrics written mainly by Roger Waters, Meddle was a group effort with lyrical contributions from each member, and is considered a transitional album between the Syd Barrett-influenced group of the late 1960s and the emerging Pink Floyd.
