A subgenre of funk that originated in Washington, D. C., Go-Go is a mixture of funk, rhythm and blues, and early Hip-Hop utilizing horns and lo-fi percussion instruments to accent swing rhythms over a bed of electric guitar, bass and keyboards with an emphasis on live audience call and response. Although Go-Go music cannot be traced back to any one person or group, many bands including Chuck Brown And the Soul Searchers, Trouble Funk and Rare Essence collectively created the sound that would come to be associated with the genre, starting in the early 1980' s. Featured on InchGood to Go GoInch are many pioneers of the genre including Chuck Brown And the Soul Searchers, Rare Essence, Big Tony & the T. F Crew, E. U. and more. Recorded in the mid to late 1980' s, all selections have been newly re-mastered.

Long out of print, the much-loved and critically acclaimed catalogue of The Sundays will be back in stock on vinyl and CD. Releasing three studio albums throughout the 90s, The Sundays are still revered with cult status across the world of indie rock, known for their shimmering, jangly guitars and the uniquely ethereal vocals of Harriet Wheeler. Their final album is a bright, polished farewell that embraces a warmer, folk-tinged pop sound, complete with the occasional addition of horns and strings. It includes tracks such as Summertime, arguably one of the most radiant singles of the 1990s, as well as Cry and When I'm Thinking About You.
