HELP(2) is a brand new collaborative album, inspired by the landmark 1995 'HELP', which brings music lovers together in support of War Child's vital work delivering immediate aid, education, specialist mental health support, and protection to children affected by conflict around the world. The new album, like the original, speaks to the urgency of the situation for the 1 in 5 children globally living through war today. Recorded in a single day in 1995, the original 'HELP' album raised over £1.2 million, enabling the charity to provide vital support to thousands of children caught in the Bosnian conflict, and was hailed as Inchthe best charity album ever madeInch by critics.HELP(2) was recorded (predominantly), thanks to their generosity, at Abbey Road Studios, across one special week in November 2025. Under the stewardship of acclaimed producer James Ford, HELP(2) features an incredible line-up of contributors including Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Young Fathers... amongst other musicians, engineers, mixers and producers.All proceeds from this album support War Child UK to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict around the world.HELP(2) represents hope for children whose lives have been torn apart by war. Felp (aka Félix Petit) opens up with ingenuity on HELP, his 13-track debut album. The Montreal-based producer, beatmaker and multi-instrumentalist breaks musical boundaries to offer a fertile blend of experimental hip-hop, indie pop, R&B and electro-jazz. HELP is a tumultuous journey into the innovative, almost mind-blowing universe of acclaimed musician and producer Félix Petit (aka Felp). Known for working with some of the most brilliant Quebec artists of our time (Les Louanges, Hubert Lenoir, Safia Nolin), Felp offers an eclectic musical panorama on his Bonsound debut, which follows the of two self-produced EPs in 2015 and 2017.This first solo album is all about teamwork. Known for his penchant for collaborations of all kinds since his beginning as a saxophonist over 10 years ago, Felp now surrounds himself with a group of musician friends, including Klô Pelgag and Laurence-Anne, who both lend their voices to a song on the album. Hence, the title - HELP - which evokes a hand stretched towards another.Share
Limited yellow colored vinyl. 'Hope' was first released in partnership with The Daily Mirror in April 2003 as a response to the Iraq War, where the artist community came together to raise vital funds to give hope to the children of Iraq. Including atists such as George Michael, Travis, Paul McCartney, New Order, David Bowie, Basement Jaxx with MC Yellowman, Beverly Knight, The Charlatans and Beth Orton. The album is wrapped up by Yusuf/Cat Stevens who recorded his first pop song for 25 years with a new version of his 1971 hit 'Peace Train' with South African choir the Incwenga Singers. 'Hope' is part of a series of four re-releases by War Child Records celebrating the amazing music artists have donated to the charity. All proceeds from these releases will directly fund War Child's life saving work with children affected by conflict.
