Eternal young premier, Gérard Philipe is one of the greatest stars of French theater and cinema of the post-war period. This 3 album box set produced by Jean-Baptiste Mersiol brings together a tasty corpus of great literary, poetic and political texts, which range from La Fontaine to Marx, read by the actor. His remarkable diction, his charisma and his tenderness, have made Gérard Philipe one of the essential voices of the French-speaking sound heritage to which this sound anthology pays tremendous tribute.
