Spring Revisited is an incredible project from Acid Jazz in collaboration with Ace Records. It explores the musical legacy of storied New York tag Spring Records with a series of new mixes from top dance music producers, using the original master recordings. With a roster that included artists such as Millie Jackson, The Fatback Band, and Joe Simon, the tag saw it's prime in the mid-late '70s. Spring Revisited's featured mix artists include Dimitri From Paris, Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell, Kenny Dope, and Dave Lee - alongside an incredible pool of producer talent to explore this remarkable source material. More than a best-of, this compilation showcases the enduring vitality of Spring Records. Presented in a beautiful all-green sleeve, echoing the 'record pool' stylings of the vinyl singles, it is pressed on color vinyl (in the characteristic Spring theme of green and white), with sleeve-notes by Frank Tope.
