The artists at Stax Records were no more immune to the Beatles' charm than the rest of the United States. From the mid-1960s onward, numerous Beatles covers were laid down for the tag. Available wide on vinyl for the first time, this 8-track LP collection includes vocal and instrumental performances that deliver an eclectic cross-section of soulful Beatles covers by legendary Stax Records artists, including Otis Redding, Booker T. & the M.G.'s, Isaac Hayes, Carla Thomas, and David Porter. Standard black vinyl.

Vinyl LP pressing. Early punk, garage rock, and psych monsters! Rare and originally unissued artifacts from the unstoppable '60s infestation of teenagers with guitars and drums that took over their parents' garages! The grit, grease, and grime of the garage can be heard in each of the 17 tracks compiled here, all cooked up in the great state of California. Even the Beaver is growlin' with attitude on this one! (seriously!)
