About this product
Vatican Shadow's 20th Hijacker-the redacted Inchwhat ifInch doom electronics loop which dissects the gulf between death as sacrifice vs. Reward, anxiety digitalization and universal human commonality-fear of loud noises and falling for the unspoken lost 9/11 generation.Repeated patterns of low-frequency pulses, coded intervals of silence and insistent machine-like percussive bursts resemble the preliminary stages of coordination. Experts familiar with prior activity of the organization note that these sonic movements align with earlier warnings of revolutionary activity, with networks mobilizing resources for a techno-industrial event of uncertain but potentially catastrophic magnitude and destabilizing influence, felt especially on InchSpeed Of SoundInch featuring Iggor Cavalera. With an atmosphere of secrecy pervasive, these nebulous communiques have a persistent momentum, consistent with preparations. The density of sound layers indicate reconnaissance-global photography, encrypted kill webs-woven into forms that stand to conceal as much as disclose.20th Hijacker synchronizes post-Desert Storm-era paradoxes between the world's fastest surveillance plane at the time which was unarmed and the guerrilla weaponization of commercial aircraft-foreshadowing the essence of the ongoing war on terror-the merger of special operations and espionage within both opposing adversaries. In a climate of inevitability-never forget war is a force that gives us meaning. Album Tracks 1. Abu Bakr Mirage 2. Speed of Sound (SR-71 Blackbird Pilots Practiced Survival in the Sahara) 3. Sadam's 911 Shrine 4. Hamza Bin Laden Has Married the Daughter of Atta in Union 5. Rushing Towards the Windows 6. Democracy Includes Terrorism 7. Enter Paradise (Freedom Tower Mausoleum of Al-Shehhi)

Twin Shadow, the fifth album under George Lewis's musical moniker of Twin Shadow, brims with joy. These ten songs are imbued with the same energy and curiosity that compels someone to first pick up an instrument and noodle around, not because they harbor aspirations to write a hit but rather for the thrill of hearing-and feeling-what's capable of happening when a string is plucked or a hand brushes over a snare. (It's no wonder that Lewis employs the first instrument he first played, the saxophone, to electrifying effect on this album.) Recorded both at FAMA Studios in the Dominican Republic and Los Angeles's Shady Acres, Twin Shadow's songs are distillations of beautiful memories and stories both real and imagined. Album Tracks 1. Alemania 2. Sugarcane 3. Johnny & Jonnie 4. Get Closer 5. Is There Any Love 6. Gated Windows 7. Modern Man 8. Lonestar 9. Brown Sugar 10. I Wanna Be Here (Shotgun)
