About this product
Inspired by the foothills of the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains north-west of Madrid, his home since August 2022, Milo Fitzpatrick presents Sierra Tracks the new album from his expansive, cinematic, chamber-jazz project Vega Trails.Having cut 2022's beautifully resonant debut album 'Tremors in the Static' as a duo, alongside saxophonist Jordan Smart (Mammal Hands and Sunda Arc), Milo now substantially expands upon that blueprint with his follow-up, 'Sierra Tracks', which, as the title suggests, was conceived at his new home in central Spain and adds piano, vibraphone and strings to the mix. The beautiful Spanish countryside offered inspiration too.

DOREMI is proud to the third in it's series of releases of brilliant, never before released live performances by Julian Bream. The first two included concerts from Aldeburgh Festivals between 1958 and 1965. The present issue continues with a recital from the 1969 edition with works by Kohaut, Sor, Giuliani, Britten, Richard Rodney Bennett, and Bach, and a Schubert Minuet and Trio from the 1977 Autumn Aldeburgh Chamber Festival. Julian Alexander Bream CBE (15 July 1933 - 14 August 2020) was an English classical guitarist and lutenist. Regarded as one of the most distinguished classical guitarists of the 20th century, he played a significant role in improving the public perception of the classical guitar as a respectable instrument. Over the course of a career that spanned more than half a century, Bream helped revive interest in the lute.
