I purchased a Verizon hotspot device and the store employee told me I could use these data cards. I had so many problems activating my hotspot and ended upon not being able to use this card for that purpose. These cards, according to Verizon these cards are intended for use with smart phones and not hotspot devices. Further, the prices for data that are printed on these data cards are not applicable to hotspot devices. While you ARE able to use the face value of cards like this (ex. $10) toward paying for a data plan on your hotspot, you are still required to pay the prices for the hotspot plans. In other words, the minimum hotspot data plan is $35 which means this $10 data card will only give you a $10 credit toward the $35 plan...but you would not receive the $10/1 gb equivalent printed on the card.

needed more data so i bought at best buy where i can get points for buying what i need.

Just make sure it is for the correct plan, device and amount.

The prepaid cards are perfect for when I don't have service with my carrier. Love knowing I can still get internet service when needed.

I bought this on accident for my prepaid Verizon hotspot but the Verizon wireless customer service representative was nice enough to credit me the extra $10 to activate my mobile hotspot

The $10 extra data card was all they had in stock. I wanted to purchase the any amount of $$$ card.

I use my phone a lot for Facebook, email, etc. Very convenient to get a refill card to add more data.
