About this product
On their bold and brilliant debut album 'Unsoothing Interior', Stockholm's Vero reflect the nature of life itself. Their songs prioritise feeling over perfectionism - what feels, or sounds, best - creating a record that tumbles through it's contents with a sense of unpredictability, excitement and curiosity. It's an album full of raw guitar riffs that spin and swirl and fizz, and evoke the spirit of artists like Sonic Youth, Garbage and Pixies. The record, out May 6th via PNKSLM Recordings (ShitKid, Les Big Byrd, Holy etc.), is a document of the three musicians' own experiences, injected with a natural urgency that comes from both the reality in the songs and writing and recording them in a studio paid for by the hour. For it's listeners, it acts less as a roadmap through the turbulence and more as a confidante to share the highs and lows, drama and desire with, encompassing everything from S*x, friendship and figuring out exactly who you are.

Stockholm trio Vero is back with their second full-length, a record that thrives on urgency no re-takes, no second-guessing-just pedal-to-the-floor intensity. Following the acclaimed debut LP Unsoothing Interior (press Uncut, CLASH, Dork, The Line of Best Fit, KEXP etc) from 2022, Razor Tongue drive into rougher, rawer territory. The result is wiry alt-rock with punk edges, choruses that detonate, and lyrics about obsession, loneliness, and fragile declarations of love.

The three Danish composers Norgard, Sorensen and Abrahamsen have all created new, visionary forms of musical expression, while also managing to renew a deep Romantic yearning to contain the intangible and the mysterious. In this new recording, Trio con Brio Copenhagen displays a keen awareness of the dreamlike idiom of the three composers.
Strikingly unique and by all standards of decency completely unheard of, American industrial noise death-doom aberration Evaporated Sores debut with their skull-crushing debut LP InchUlcerous DimensionsInch, a gnarled and horrifying extreme metal experiment that establishes the band as an unprecedented beacon of aural barbarism, bridging various opposites of harsh and inverted sonic extremism to synthesize a violent and implacable design to mankind's complete annihilation. Fusing scathing industrial noise and power electronics with the most worm-ridden death metal and the suffocating inescapability of sludge and doom metal, InchUlcerous DimensionsInch is a sadistic trial in aural torment, where the listener is cast at a center of a lucid nightmare and made the subject of an unrelenting sensorial assault of complete aural humiliation in which suffocating crawling tempos, claustrophobic and surreal atmospheres, skin-peeling electronics and erratic bone-fracturing death metal chaos cascade toward total oblivion resounding the listener's complete obliteration.
