The Good: I think the design on this is better than other pressurized fermenters in some ways. The idea of using a locked ring around the seal rather than clips is a good idea. The dual ball lock lid keeps the ability to leave the spunding valve on while repressurizing. Everything is clamped for easy removal to be cleaned. The build and materials are all good, its not weak anywhere or too thin. The castors are nice quality, as is the butterfly valve. Customer care is fairly helpful (you'll see why i needed to contact them below...) The Bad: The instructions are pretty useless, but its not a complicated thing to put together so you'll eventually get there (probably). Its packaged with Styrofoam though, which is a huge problem for such heavy components. During transmit the butterfly valve broke loose inside the box and wreaked a fair bit of havoc on the rest of the hardware. The foam was completely pulverized and several of the pieces were dented or bent from the valve being loose inside. As a result my sealing ring is bent and doesn't make an even contact all the way around and i can't tighten it enough to hold pressure about 4 or 5 psi. Customer care did offer to send me a new one but the parts come from asia so its been several weeks and I haven't seen them yet, but i remain hopeful!
