Victims - Take It As It Comes - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

A 1960's style psychedelic rock band, Victims of Chance is one of a long line of interesting obscure bands to come from the stable of the mysterious, legendary Los Angeles based musician/producer/entrepreneur known as Johnny Kitchen. The Victims of Chance self-titled full length album, originally released in 1968, has become a rare psyche classic, and copies of the original LP sell for top dollar in collector's circles. Finally available in the digital domain, all selections have been newly re-mastered.

2018 debut album from Nova Materia is powerful and hypnotic, incorporating eerie sounds generated by raw and mineral materials (metal, rocks etc) to create tracks that are in turn hyper-rhythmic and dreamy, poised between postpunk rock and electronic dance music. Consists of Caroline Chaspoul from France and Eduardo Henriquez from Chile, the duet started the band in 2015, having previously toured the globe and released several albums with Chilean alternative rock group Panico.
