Fridge has a number of quality issues and definitely does not feel like a Viking level appliance. Fridge came in a new construction home along with other Viking appliances and never made ice. Had Viking repair folks out 6 times replacing water filters, hoses, and other various parts. The doors slam when closing at times and it sounds like everything is going to fall out. After the 6 visits returned the fridge and went SubZero which had been amazing as expected. Viking needs to stick to ranges vs put there name on products they appear to not manufacture themselves!

This is the worst refrigerator that I've ever purchased. We ordered all of our Viking appliances while having our kitchen remodeled. It arrived on November 20, 2020, but our kitchen wasn't done, so it was installed on December 11, 2020, when our new kitchen remodel was finished. After the installation by our contractor, we began the task of removing the plastic, setting up the bins and still had this white piece that we couldn't figure out where it goes. Then we realized the drawer bin wasn't aligned, so we pulled it out to align it and it wouldn't go on the track. This is when we realized where the remaining piece went. It was shipped on the shelf apparently because at the factory someone knew it was broken. Problem number two....the ice maker over night was like an old refrigerator that needs to be defrosted. There is ice everywhere in the freezer and the plastic and metal has water frozen all over everywhere. Best Buy is telling us that it is past 15 days and we have to call Viking. This is the worst customer service and we spent $19,000 ordering all of the Viking appliances through them. It's almost Christmas and we have a refrigerator that arrived defective. I am so angry and upset right now..... : (

The jury is still out on this. The first one I received was a mess. Freezer made an awful “generator” sound, the freezer door was cracked, an led light was out and the door wouldn’t close properly. The second one I received never even came into the house, it was so horribly dented. Over a month later, I’ve received my 3rd and so far so good. Although it’s only been a few days. Best Buy has been pretty helpful and accommodating, but still a huge inconvenience.

I am so disappointed in this refrigerator. The build quality is terrible. The door panels don’t lineup The plastic that used to cover the stainless steel will not completely come off, as pictured and looks terrible. This unit doesn’t even have a water dispenser. Ice from the icemaker is constantly falling into the storage bins in the freezer. I would’ve been much better off buying a high tech Japanese brand for thousands less. This refrigerator is an embarrassment for Viking to have in the marketplace

Overall, I am pleased with the refrigerator. It’s a Viking and so far I would say it’s worth the money. Would recommend adding the grill kit (pictured) to give it a more elevated look. It’s an added expense, but personally I think it’s worth it. Easy to install. As mentioned in previous reviews, be prepared for the 3rd party delivery service to stink. Long story short, after weeks of disorganization from Best Buy and the local delivery and appliance removal company they use, I decided to install the refrigerator myself and paid a separate company to remove my old refrigerator. It was a major hassle.

Great appliance at a respectable price. Delivered fast and was up and running in no time at all. Happy every day that I made the purchase!

I am sad to say the Viking 3 series has had issues from day one. I came from a Samsung fridge that was having issues after four years making large amounts of noise at random times. I wanted something reliable and quite after the Samsung so after extensive searching decided to get this Viking. I have had the fridge for just over a month and have had two service calls and waiting to hear back from Viking on switching out the unit. One to fix a electrical issue with the left door which was charged and shocking us. The control panel for the fridge is in the left door. At the time of the service visit they also inspected a noise issue as the fridge (still) makes a high-pitched pinging noise 24/7. We have an open kitchen/living room and I am able to hear the noise in the living room and down the hall. Viking’s response to the noise was to replace the compressor. At this point I was less then two weeks in from delivery and already replacing the compressor. I was under the impression from what the service tech had said about the shocking that I would be exchanging for a entire new unit. So they come and spent three hours changing the compressor and the noise did not stop. I am still trying to have Viking resolve this. I pulled the unit out sent more videos to Viking and after another week am still waiting for a follow up. I was told last week someone would call me after reviewing the videos of the electrical shocking and noise issue. If you do get this fridge my biggest suggestion on delivery is plug it in and listen. If it's making noise don't accept it. Also pop off your shoes and run your hand along the left french door to ensure you don't get shocked. At this point I am looking at Subzero or Thermador, which is frustrating as I'll need to modify the cabinets above the fridge to accommodate but if I can ride myself of this noise it will all be worth it.

Waited 3months for delivery. Works fine. Would be nice if door stayed shut.case if water seems to hold it shut. Replacing with new one in March. I hope it shows up. First one kept moving delivery date. $11000 refrigerator nice. $8 door stop priceless

Let the nightmare begin. Does that tell you enough? No, OK, then after the refrigerator is eagerly anticipated to be delivered, I am able to start using my new fridge but soon realize that the high pitch ringing/knocking coming from the fridge is causing my ears to ring to the point I think I might have ear damage and wakes me up at 2 am. Unplugging my fridge, doing my research, to find out the Viking fridge uses a panasonic compressor pump. Not to worry, a new fridge is ordered and will replace my new first fridge that I cannot plug in, so as not to do permanent damage to my ears like the Cuban embassy did to the embassy employees. Three weeks later, when the fridge is scheduled to be delivered, the delivery company calls 4 1/2 hours early to let me know they are a "little" early, and could I meet them in 10 minutes at my house to complete the delivery. After excusing myself from my business lunch meeting, I tell the hard to understand heavy accent delivery driver I will meet him at 1230pm, and he agrees. I postpone my 1pm meeting until 4pm, and arrive excited to receive the new fridge. At 1250pm I become worried that I will have to miss my 2pm meeting so I call the delivery driver back 3 times... Blah blah blah.. and so it goes on and on.. To sum it up, missing and rescheduling 4 meetings, and to find out the fridge will be delivered tomorrow at 4-8pm. I wish I could be there... since I have to be out of town. Best Buy is doing all it can, but there delivery company is awful. They have offered to reduce the fridge by $500, but if the Panasonic pump screams at a high pitch like the first one, I cannot accept the offer. I have to see if I can try to reschedule my work-schedule a 4th time in two days... Cross your fingers and hope the new Viking/Panasonic Fridge does not scream again.

Our kitchenaid refrigerator broke after 4 years. It would cost more to fix so we went to Best Buy. We picked the Viking refrigerator with the slide out freezer. A month after purchase my husband and I realized we made a mistake. I called Best Buy/Pacific Sales Mission Viejo several times to ask for them to exchange our refrigerator with a different one. The ice fell all over the floor when the drawer slid out. I talked to many Bust BuyPacific Sales employees but no one ever got back to me.

I never thought a Viking refrigerator could be had for this price. It works pretty well, but it's best feature is that it looks amazing!

I really like my new Viking refrigerator! This is my 2nd Viking and I appreciate the look. Keeps foods at perfect temperatures, seems roomier than my other, runs quietly, and has beautiful lighting inside. Removal and Installation were seamless and the crew pleasant to deal with.

I like the size and overall design but the freezer is a little to small for a family.

It's a 3 series, so quality is obviously not as good as the higher end models. From day one, icemaker did not work, called service, it was a connection issue during delivery, the tech plugged it back in, problem solved... You get what you paid for, and you can see some minor quality issues like the bottom panel does not stay on evenly, one side has a bigger gap than the other side, I even had the service tech adjust the screws, it's still crooked.

The free standing refrigerator is an affordable option to the built-in. Add the trim kit to get a built-in look for a lot less money. Liked it so much that we bought another one for a different house!

Purchased this to go with the rest of the appliances we have that are Viking. Happy to have a French door that looks like a built in without the built in price.

Very happy with this Viking refrigerator. It has plenty of room for a counter depth fridge and is extremely quiet. Looks great too! Would definitely recommend.

I love this refrigerator. It came as promised within three days of the order. I ordered the top grill kit and it gives it a bit more of a builtin appearance, which really helps as I was replacing a older Viking Built in. I love the led lighting that helps you see everything inside the refrigerator and it is extremely quiet. I had it installed by my own electrician and not the Best Buy team and it was in and operating in roughly 3 hours. The only complaint I have is it doesn't seem to have a automatic Ice maker shut off, so I have remember to turn it off and on when the bin is empty or full.

The fit and style of the fridge was great for our cramped space. The top is perfect for our family with lots of space. Deep shelves and door spots are great for us. Our big issue was with the ice maker always getting frozen over. It took 4 trips for techs to install a better insulating plug in the bottom where too much heat was getting in..It's mostly fixed but we do still get lil bits of frozen water in the back dripping down at times.

Cooling works good but the out appearance was horrible. It would not balance whatsoever and it has so many slight dents in the front. The ice maker doesn’t have automatics shut off so it would overflow if we don’t turn it off. We got a new one and that one came with defective electric cord. I will never order Viking again…
