Great but scratches easily
My husband and I were so excited when we purchased our first Viking product. We know that it's what commercial, professional kitchens use so we figured it must be a great buy and something that would last us a long time. In terms of heat, it's a great stove. It cooks the food evenly, although the knobs are closer to the pot or pan and the knob can get very hot. The clean up is easy; however, it scratches easily too. This is rm the reason why I'm giving it 4 stars. I thought that out would at least be a little much tougher from being scratches but that was not the case. Unfortunately, as much as I'd want to keep my stove clean while cooking, sometimes things spilll over. I try to clean it right away but again, the surface becomes very hot that i have to wait for it to cool down. If we're knew this prior to purchasing the stove, we probably could have gone with something else. It is still a good product, it's just that it scratches easily.

Great Stove Top
I replaced an electric stove top with this new gas stove top. The automatic ignition works perfectly, no more waiting to ignite the burners. The center burner gets extremely hot and if you need a very small simmer, the smaller burners work well with getting the heat down to a very slow bubble. We used the installation service, the granite needed to be cut 1/4" inch and the guys did that for us for an additional charge. The stove top is easy to clean and the pots fit nicely on all three grates. I am very happy with this purchase.

Looks Beautiful
Buy this cooktop only if you don't plan on cooking on it!!! It's beautiful to look at! Within a month, the grates and cooktop were stained with water (yes, boiling water drops), the rubber feet on the grates fell off, and the burner caps are all stained as well. I called Best Buy and was told we are past the exchange period and to contact the manufacturer. I will do that, but I want to let everyone know that this cooktop is not worth the money! Don't waste time or money on it. Maximum images allowed are 2 or I would have shown the rubber feet and additional stains.
