Eisenberg for 16 musicians, composed by Globokar in 1990, is performed here by the University of Illinois New Music Ensemble. Much of Globokar's music is left to the performers - pitches, rhythms texts to be sung, chanted, etc. - but the composer prescribes a suitable framework so that each piece progresses along the lines he intended.
