Bought this for my Tesla model 3. You would assume that Tesla are good already with the onboard camera, however, it won't save you with speeding or situations that need GPS/Speed values to win your case. I bought this compact VIOFO dash cam and it was just what I was looking for. It was compact enough to stick near the visor panel and small enough to hide away from plain sight. The installation was very easy and works well with your mobile phone. Installation is quick as there are no annoying extra wires and it is plug and play. I also bought the VIOFO memory card to avoid any problems that may arise with other cards, so better safe than sorry for the data. I like the video quality since it is 4K so be sure to see if that fits your needs or you can opt for a bigger version.

Good product - a bit of a chunky design but best value in teh category

I really like this dash cam. It is small, accurate and very clear. For the purpose I use it for is great but if you want to install it directly to your vehicle to have all the features activated you will need to purchase extra equipment.
