I purchased this alarm for an old 1995 Ford Wagon that I recently purchased. The alarm had keyless entry and Remote Starter. I wasn't sure about needing a remote starter for such an old car, but the feature has been wonderful. I use it to start my car in the morning and get the air conditioning to cool my vehicle so when I enter it's nice and cold! I also love not having to use my key to unlock the doors! Great features at an affordable price!

I got Viper 3505V from somewhere else but I think this product deserves better reviews. I purchased 3 of them and I got 2 installed so far (by someone else), still waiting on third one. I love it. So far it served me well. I work on the 10th floor and I park on 1st floor (parking spot facing my office) and my car turns on with no issue, but I couldn't turn him off (which is strange that it starts but does not power off and range is same). Primary reason to have this is to install car so I don't worry about that. Everything else has been great. Just make sure you go with experienced installer.

Had the alarm installed at the store last week, it has false alarms on average a bit more than once a day...at any time of the day or night. Bigger problem is that the alarm controls the door locks and locked me out (while 130 miles away from home and in the rain). In a vehicle with no door key locks this is a problem. Came out of store, Viper remote would disarm but not unlock the doors. When we finally slimjimmed into my truck the vehicle's power locks worked both ways with the vehicle's switches (not a problem with the truck) but the Viper will only lock, not unlock. So now no way to lock the vehicle where I can still get in... Called store, they can't make me an appointment until two days from now to look at it. So I buy an alarm, after my vehicle was broken into, and now I can't even lock it. Not impressed.
