It's no secret that we can be a li le bit geeky. On VSQ Otaku we indulged our fandom a bit and chose twelve essential anime themes that we hold near and dear to our nerdy hearts. From the emotive yearning of Neon Genesis Evangelion's InchA Cruel Angel's ThesisInch to the wild frenzy of InchJoJo (Sono Chino Sadame)Inch from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, we reimagined these timeless openings with all the lushness and tranquility a string quartet can provide. Something of a spiritual successor to our fan-favorite VSQ The World of Studio Ghibli, VSQ Otaku was our chance to revisit some old favorites and bring them to a new light. Album Tracks 1. Guren No Yumiya (Attack on Titan) 2. We Go a Power Feat. Thatviolakid (Dragon Ball Z) 3. Jojo (Sono Chino Sadame) (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) 4. Gurenge Feat. Tina Guo (Demon Slayer) 5. Go!!! (Naruto) 6. Last Dinosaur (FLCL) 7. Duvet (Serial Experiments Lain) 8. Kaikai Kitan (Jujutsu Kaisen) 9. The World (Death Note) 10. A Cruel Angel's Thesis (Neon Genesis Evangelion) 11. Voices (Macross Plus) 12. Lend Me Your Voice Feat. Tina Guo (Belle) 13. Sparkle (Your Name)

Duos and quartets by Wojciech Chalupka-winner of the Tadeusz Baird Competition, composer and saxophonist, and member of the acclaimed Nemesis Quartet-go far beyond personal reflections on philosophical questions. These works represent chamber music at it's highest level, brought to life in outstanding performances, including a live recording by the legendary Arditti Quartet. Striking, unconventional instrumental pairings, boundless imagination, and an effortless command of diverse musical styles define Chalupka's distinctive and compelling compositional voice.
