Setup was very easy, I plugged it into the Arc HDMI port on my TV, and then plugged my Apple TV device into the sound bar. It works great in my small game room or man cave, whatever you want to call it. The Dolby Atmos sounds amazing, and the Bass is very good. I wouldn’t recommend it for large rooms though.

Love it. Granted this is my first soundbar/subwoofer purchase and I can’t compare it to anything but it’s exactly what I wanted. Movie theater sound!

I bought this because of the dolby atmos compatibility. Although the sound is amazing and the output coming from the subwoofer is better than I expected, to get full dolby atmos experience you need 5.1 channels. I do not regret this purchase at all the sound from the 2.1 channels is overall better than expected

We have a 32” TV and dialogue on streaming shows was a hassle to understand..needed a boost. This VIZIO unit was a perfect solution. Room size..13 x 16.5ft..9.5ft ceiling..Pros:Easy setup and remote use, everything included to get started. Subwoofer adds that “movie theater rumble” vibe!! Listening to Spotify through our ROKU TV was a revelation..great separation and deep bass. Tips: Placement of the subwoofer is important..try different positions that suit your room..ours 10 ft. to the left, up front. Use the remote to adjust the equalizer settings..Cons: If your room is cavernous, spring for a “bigger $” unit.

So I have an older version of this and it worked fine. Fast forward and we decided to upgrade our TV and sound bar. Having been quite please with the last vizo I figured stick with what works. We hooked it up ALL the cables I needed came in box!! It was super easy. Did some sound tweaks with the remote (that take a few if your not framilar with vizo). Put on top gun maverick movie to test. We were blow alway. Fantastic sound good bass. And what really impressed me was the dialog setting I has pre tweaked. I got to say our old one were were quite happy with this. The newer version is freeking awesome. Highly highly recommend. For reference our room is roughly 400 Sq feet and it sound like show in here. Just nice loud crispt. You can tweak the sound or simply use the preset modes.

The sound is phenomenal on this sound bar. However, the sinking between the TV and the sound bar can sometimes go off and it causes me to have to unplug everything and replug it in order for me too be able to use my remote to adjust the volume.

Works better than expected, the bass is awesome alot of times I have to turn it down a few notches. The Dolby Atmos when watch something that is compatible the sound and the surround effects work like magic. I got this for $120 open box and it performs like $300-$400 bar (I compared). Comes with nice remote, easy to hook up via hdmi arc. The woofer is wireless, you can put it anyway. I totally recommend it and would buy again, I have it with my 75 inch TV and nothing else needed but popcorn.

I was looking for an affordable upgrade to my existing soundbar and this one caught my eye with the virtual Dolby Atmos & DTS: X conversions at a price that doesn't break the bank. I was working on a budget so I didn't want to spend more the a soundbar than I did for my new 65-inch TV 4K UHD Roku-based TV. I am fully aware that virtual in no way replaces true surround sound, but this soundbar and sub-woofer do a pretty good job of making my small living room sound like it is full of sound from many different places. It definitely outperforms the former streambar which was very compact compared to this Vizio. A snap to install using the HDMI ARC output on the TV. For those who don't know ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows you to use any remote that can control the TV, which is very much of a benefit. All I had to do was plug in the power and the soundbar did the rest to get connected. ARC also powers up/down the soundbar/sub woofer when the TV is turned on/off. Another very convenient plus. I set my TV audio output to "Passthrough" so it would send whatever digital signal is being generated by the source. My 4K TV is capable of HDR-10 & Dolby Vision in 4K and Dolby Atmos & DTS: X sound codecs from those movies/shows. The Vizio soundbar has four EQ settings - Game, Movie, Direct & Music - all easily accessed with the supplied remote. Again, since I wanted to maintain the native codec from the source, I selected "direct." The supplied remote also allows you to adjust the usual bass & treble but I found the clearest sound by leaving both in the middle of the range. The dialog enhancement is disabled in the "Direct" mode but is available in all other EQs. It also had DTS TruSound volume leveling, but I wanted the soundbar to recreate the loud bang & booms that that program reduces. A "Night" mode is also available, but I live alone son that is another I do not need, but it is there if you need it. A small LCD display at the top of the remote lets you know exactly what you are doing. LEDS on the left side of the soundbar also let you know which mode/setting/input you are in if you have the corresponding chart in the user's manual closeby. A long push of the "OK' button on the remote switches the soundbar into "info" made and a audio voice tells you what input is being used and what codecs are being used - "HDMI ARC, Dobly audio, Dolby Plus" is an example of how it responds. You can also "Test" the soundbar using the remote and it has audio say, "left, right & the initiates the sub-woofer. The wireless 5-inch sub woofer does a pretty good job of getting the low rumbles. Again, no wires, just plug it in and the soundbar finds it and turns it on. If you are looking for an affordable (I got mine for under $200) soundbar for a small room, then this is the soundbar to look at.

I had a vizio sound bar for about 8 years, this was before they had series and it was just by channels. Decided to upgrade and wanted Dolby amtos without breaking the bank. Went with the "M" series instead of the "V" series because of the tweeters and larger sub. I can tell the difference right away, louder and bolder. I haven't passed volume 50 since getting it. Its that powerful, great for content of Dolby Atmos/vision and DTS-X. I would like to pair it with a "M" series or higher Vizio TV later on, but my 65 "V" series does the job fine. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!
