I bought this to replace an older 36" rca soundbar for my wife's living room (we have his and hers, it's great). I wanted to get her an upgrade, but nothing over the top because I already have a good pioneer elite 9.2 with polks setup in my room. I knew from experience that having a center channel would be a game changer, and a center at this price point was the deciding factor in this purchase. Out of the box, the sound is flat. It's just a wall of sound without distinct dialog, like a traditional soundbar. However, after some adjustment, it sounds great. Nice mids, dialog is crisp and clear, the highs are adjustable and not harsh. The sub doesn't get low low, but it gives you the depth you need and blends perfectly with the setup. Without it, this setup would seriously be lacking. It's in a 12x14 room that is pretty open and it does well, but I imagine this thing would perform much better in a closed space. The remote is cheap and clicky, but not overly so. The led display is small and needs ambient light to see, but I'm still kind of impressed because there are a decent amount of options. Treble, bass, center volume, subwoofer volume, surround balance and volume, a volume booster, 3 sound modes (best left in movie mode), night mode and others. Impressive in this price range. I bought some decent stands for the rears from a large online retailer for less than twenty bucks and they turned out very well. The rears are corded and plug into the wall powered sub which connects wirelessly to the soundbar. Essentially, no wires from front to back, thank goodness. The wire length for the rears is 15~ ft each. The rears include attachable wall brackets. You should be aware that while it does accept most inputs and includes the required cables to do so, the surround sound is very limited. You're not going to be getting any true surround or high definition audio such as dolby digital+ or atmos nor should you expect to at this price point. To be fair, most people couldn't tell the difference regardless. Overall, the sound quality is great for the money; just have to play with the settings until you get it dialed in for your space. It's so much better than what my wife previously had, and it's honestly better than the Yamaha soundbar in our master that costs twice as much. However, it doesn't come close to competing with a traditional 3k+ setup, so keep your expectations reasonable.

Sounds good, but the remote is rather unhelpful. Have to cycle through each source option to find the one you want, then sometimes you have to do it multiple rounds before it finds the correct one. Then it automatically switches to the TV if you turn it on or a console if you turn it on. Then the process continues. I have had to unplug mine about every two months because it won't turn off or play or respond to commands. There are probably better options out there, but this is what I bought and I have reviewed it after a year of owning it.

I purchased this for my niece, and she loves it. The only thing she has complained about is she has to reconnect the fire stick over and over again. But she is loving the surround sound and the bass while watching movies. She even stated, “the floor was rumbling during a scene in the movie. I purchase this during Black Friday in July, and the price was great.

I love the minimalist look of this soundbar. It pairs nicely with my 65” Vizio SmartTv. The bass is loud and the surround sound is phenomenal! Feels like I’m actually in the movie! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the soundbar has no sound when I turn my tv on until I press the up button on my tv remote. My husband has a similar set up and I never have to do that on his tv (as soon as I turn on the tv, the soundbar turns on and there’s sound). But, overall, it’s a great soundbar!

This is a great sound bar that has a sound quality way above its price tag. Works really well and was very easy to setup and use. The display on the remote can be a little hard to see if the lighting isnt good, but overall no major complaints

Great sound, but I would love to have more than 2 HDMI connections. I do not like the remote since it has a digital display but it is hard to read since there is no backlight to actual see the options. Overall I do like this sound system.

Vizio sound bars preform like they cost hundreds more than thier standard price. And with Best Buy's open box discount prices they are an even greater value.Provides rich and room filling detailed sound for both music and movies in a small and uncluttered straight forward system. Bluetooth feature is an added bonus so that this can become a feature loaded sound system that serves all of you audio needs with an ease of use that most people find desirable

This is my 1st soundbar purchase and I am delighted with it. Setup was straightforward and easy. The difference in the sound quality vs the TV is amazing, especially the bass. The remote speakers give a real surround sound experience. These and the subwoofer are wired which is a bit cumbersome. Not up enough on technology to know if Bluetooth subwoofer and speakers would be a significant convenience stepup. Very pleased with my purchase.

Speaker offers HDMI-ARC input as well as another HDMI input/output. The HDMI-ARC helps the speaker turn on when turning on the tv (if supported. I have a Samsung) and be able to control the volume just by using the tv. The other HDMI serves as both input for the speaker, but also as a throughput without needing to connect another cable to the tv. Subwoofer provides good bass, although if you are looking to feel it, you will probably need a bigger speaker since this does not do that. The only issue I have with it, and seems to be the same that other users have reported is that the speaker becomes unresponsive and needs to be reset constantly. It stays on as far as showing the light, but no sound comes out. You can't turn it off, nor change the input, change volume, nor even use the remote at all.

Reading reviews, I had some lower expectations of this set up. As a whole, when everything is working as it should it’s a 4 out of 5. The side speakers add a touch to the surround but are not phenomenal speakers or close to being as loud as the bar. When swapping between optical and Bluetooth it can be a pain sometimes if the control isn’t pointed directly at the bar. The control is awful too. But like I said when it works, it’s solid especially for the price.

I bought this to replace a similar system from samsung. For the price, this system is worth it especially for in home audio set up. The mids and highs are crystal clear, the dynamic bass is so powerful I had to turn that down. I even own the vizio 2.0 channel soundbar with dts:x, I think vizio sound system delivers at a lower price in comparison to their competitors.

It was packaged perfect from the factory and actual device was pretty good just not enough bass for my liking and also not liking not being able to control the bass or treble. All in all for the price its pretty good and one of the least expensive surround sounds that you can hook up your ps5 or xbox-x series up too which is a plus...

This affordable home audio system sounds great. Installing is really easy. I installed mine with in 15 minutes. The bass is amazing. I love having the surround sound while watching movies.

Great sound for the price. My only problem is that sometimes it won’t work/respond to the remote. The front light will be on, but no one’s home. I’ll have to get up, unplug it, then plug it back in so it can restart.

So far so amazing!! This is my second Vizio sound bar. My first one died due to a direct lightning strike. This one is more slim, has crisper sound and is amazing. I'll give it a few weeks and if anything changes I will update but right out the box it was amazing. Set up is super easy and I no longer have to suffer with TV audio:)
