Surprised by this fan. It actually blows out cool air and is fairly quiet. I like the versatility of having it set up vertically or horizantally. We bought another for a different room.

Bought this to try, and very glad I did! The fan speeds are excellent, the sleek design is so good, and the ability to lay it down, omg just French kiss!

What a game changer, and right in time for summer. Have it set up under the tv, keeps cool on low and makes almost no noise.

I'll be honest, I've been pretty underwhelmed by this fan. It is really great that it can lie horizontally, which is why I bought it and how I use it, but at its core that's the only thing this fan has going for it. It only has 3 fan speeds, doesn't do anything remotely fancy like other fans in its price range, and in my opinion is quite loud in contrast to what others have said. So I guess you're paying for the option to go horizontal, and I guess that gives you a basic fan for $100. If you're specifically looking for a fan to lie horizontally, this is the fan for you. But if you intend to just use it like a tower fan, you can definitely get more for your money elsewhere.
