This is a great fan and puts out a bunch of air and will definitely help cool down a fairly good size area during those hottest summer months of the year. On its lowest setting, the noise is silent enough that its like background noise. On the highest setting it can become kind of noisy, especially if trying to sleep. But it is a good, high quality fan that moves lots of air!

Circulates air well and definitely cools a room down. It can be quite noisy on higher setting, but can be tuned out after awhile.

I don't know what my wife and I would do without our Vornado!! They are the best fans on the market in my opinion for their durability and how wide of a range they spread air through the home.

I looked at the reviews and chose this fan because it would fit my needs st home. This summer was hot and humid. This fan did a terrific job cooling down the living room. My family was so happy to have a cooler home. We have other smaller Vornado fans in the bedrooms and it really helps so we can sleep comfortably. This fan will not let you down. I want to order one more by next summer.

This fan blows the air around enough to keep the temperature even with no hot spots.
