A: well, the base has a spear on it you can press home to put on spear, however the 2 additional headset have built in speakers on the cordless phone but not on the base of the unit just long as its within range you shall be good for those devices to work fine

A: NO external head jack plug..... Great phone but NO blue tooth compatible except for cell phones, have a Jaw bone and no way to PAIR...........
