Waipuna - Waipuna - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Over the past decade, with pulsing melodies and rich poetry Waipuna has endeavored to fulfill the kuleana of their inoa. So it is appropriate to pose the question, aia i hea ka waiwai a Waipuna? This collection of mele offers these answers. It is there... born in a father's everlasting love for his infant son... in the aloha and generosity of friends from near and far... embodied in esteemed elders and exalted chiefs... manifest in the mountains, streams and ocean that support our lives and lifestyle... at cherished landscapes of Ko'olauloa, Kailua, Maunalani, Maui, Läna'i, Waipi'o and Waiau... witnessed in faith, spirtuality and deference for the Divine forces to whom we give all credit for the world in which we are privileged to exist. David, Kale and Matt have profound gratitude for these intimate and deep relationships that constitute the waiwai of their lives and inspiration for their music. They grow ever richer by sharing this wealth with you. Album Tracks 1. E Ho'i NÄ Wai - Cody Pueo Pata 2. Lei Hala Pono O Kailua - Tony Conjugation 3. NÄ Ali'i Puolani - Rev. Dennis Kamakahi 4.
