Q: Does this come already put together or is assembly required?

A: There is absolutely nothing assembled - it is all do it yourself, and the instructions are sorely lacking in clarity.

Q: Will your components turn on with the doors closed using a remote? How many holes are there on the back for wire management.

A: Hi Meg, Media components should work with the remote through glass. If you look at the 4th picture in the image carousel, you can see the back of the TV stand. There are two half circle cut outs for wire management.

Q: Can a shelf be removed to accommodate a subwoofer measuring 15' high, 14 " wide and 15" deep? Thanks.

A: Hi Bill, Thank you for your question! Good news, the shelf can easily be removed! Bad news, your subwoofer measuring 15" deep will not fit with the doors closed unless you were to cut a hole in the back to let in more space, or leave the doors open-- the depth measures only to 13-7/8".
