Fast and works as advertised. I purchased this as an expanded storage for my PlayStation 5 Pro. The preinstalled heatsink is a necessity when used on a PS5. PlayStation 5 read speeds reported at 6,600Mbps. A little less than advertised by likely due to the PS5 hardware interface limitations than the drive itself. This SSD comes with dram so it’s ideal for use with PlayStation. Other lower cost SSDs might not have the dram and relies on HBM (memory from the host machine) for caching, this is fine for PC and possibly for PlayStations in most use cases. Just note that the PlayStation 5 does not support HBM. I have had good experiences with Western Digital drives and this one is no difference. The drives are reliable and is speedy as advertised.

Love that I can hold so many games without having to delete or transfer. Installing it was as easy as unscrewing two little screws and plugging it in. Absolutely necessary if you have a nice game catalog.
