It does not include drives. But not many NAS devices do. We bought some Ironwolf drives and set it up in raid and it seems to be performing well. Gives us external access to files and stops us from having to create file shares on individual computers. Happy customers.

Loaded this NAS up with 2 x 16gb WD pro hard drives. Works flawlessly. Was able to add Plex account to watch 4k videos. Very happy with drive. Upgraded from WD My Cloud Ex2 Ultra

I purchased the PR2100 after returning the EX2 ultra. The EX2 couldn’t handle more than one task at a time and couldn’t do any internal transcoding. The PR2100 on the other hand is awesome. I did a complete YouTube video for both https://youtu.be/dCEfSOt3JKo and https://youtu.be/negMLwwr0zg

NAS is the way to go for home based cloud storage. Fast access and quick access between devices. Dual Ethernet outputs allow for multiple network access.

Storage maybe not backups

The WD My Cloud cosmetics are appealing. The performance of this NAS is not what I expected, after several failed attempts at trying to restore a computer from a backup along with the worst customer support that I have experienced this is at best a rating #1
