So far I've purchased 2 of these drives. My first was a 4T drive for our Xbox One S and then I purchased this 5T drive for our PS4. Packaging was nice, build feels sturdy and has a little weight to it. They've performed nicely and haven't had any issues so far, nor do I plan to. I've owned Seagate and WD in the past and also currently have a portable WD for my laptop. Huge reason I chose WD over Seagate is I had not one but two Seagate hard drives crash and unable to recover my data before. Therefore, I do what I can to stay away from them. I wish the write speeds were a little faster (states up to 140mbps) but it's to be expected. It says its accelerated but without testing speeds ect side by side, I dont really notice a difference. I was doing big transfers (totalled 1.5T) and took quite a while to do it. I wanted an SSD but wasn't prepared to pay for them. Instead, I settled on this drive and was happy enough with it that I purchased a second. I'd purchase again if needed.

EPIC STUFF RIGHT HERE!!!! Came early and it works perfectly with my ps5. Can’t beat the price for 4tb. I totally recommend this for any gamer whom needs that extra space

Case feels solid. Compatible with my router so I can access my files from any device. Super convenient if I wanted to let’s say, store a movie from my computer and watch it in the living room on my Xbox. It’s been running nonstop for about a month now and no strange noises or issues so far! I’ll try to remember to update this review if I ever have any issues. Purchase price: $105 before tax for 4tb model.

I’d been using a 4TB Seagate on the XBOX for a while but it think it’s was getting old i.e. bad sectors and WD is the way to go ... I think that the specs are faster and performs way beyond my old drive. Wanted the 5TB but wasn’t in stock ... the price could be a little close to reasonable

Saw this SSD on YouTube, 4TB and fast download speeds. Yes it’s compatible with the PS5.

I have no problem from the day I bought this product, it work's really well and I recommend anyone to buy this hard drive it’s great to have.

Great storage for the price but it is not plug and play you have to format anyway.

A lil slow uploading speed but dependable and good price.

I definitely need this for my PS5 though i could have gotten a 2TB instead but this still works

I can't say enough good things about the value of this external drive to me. It was the last one on the shelf - and did exactly what it needed to do.

This is actually the second one I bought. Very happy with both and obviously will keep buying them

Works perfectly, I mostly use it to store games and I like that there is no difference between loading screens.

Lasted about a year and half, now has bad sectors, WD has decent warranty, so I just send it back for replacement and they will honor it.

Only problem is it reads as a boot drive at first, so it caused start up issues. I had to unplug it before starting up again.

I wish it came with a protective bag for traveling in my suitcase.

Get errors and not as fast as it could be. Still good for video
