I saw the 1 and only review and I got a bit skeptical about purchasing this HDD. The box certainly didn't look brand new, but so far it's been working as intended. I'm only 2 months in, so wish me luck folks lol!

Read a couple of bad reviews but no issues here so far. Read and write speeds are great. Using the drive in a DAS for Plex Media Server.

I was sent a defective, returned item from one of the New York stores. The hard drive I was sent was dented and had a date code of Jan 2024. PC couldn't read it and the drive itself made clicking sounds when it was started. I tried to get a replacement, even dropping the size of drive I was willing to get, but couldn't get a replacement. I was told by online/phone support that my local store had one in stock and would hold it for me. Of course when I went the very next day they didn't have one and had no clue that one was to have been held for me. I had them return the damaged and defective drive right then and bought the drive size I wanted off Amazon with no hassles.
