A: Yes, this will work with PS5. You should install an aftermarket heatsink as recommended by Sony, but it is compatible.
A: Works for me but shows an invalid product at WD. You will need to initialize this and add a simple volume.
Q: Will this work with a pcle 4*16 lane expansion slot
A: Yes it supports it
A: It should be compatible so long as you have another nvme slot available in your laptop. As the 12th gen supports PCIE gen 4 and should have enough PCIE lanes to run 2 ssd and a gpu on it from the cpu.
A: I’m not an expert by any means but I run AMD and have no issues. Just make sure your NVMe slot is 4th compatible otherwise you won’t notice the capable speeds of the drive.
Q: WD says this is an invalid serial number. They are investigating this to see what the issue is????
