Limited edition of 1500 numbered copies on red coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. A symphonic masterpiece, that's the best way to describe the song InchSong For AmericaInch by the American band Kansas. It's the title track from the album of the same name and characteristic for it's electronic guitar melodies, sparkling synths and impressive violin play. Kansas found themselves redefining their music after their debut album a year before. Besides the title track the album offers a lot other quality pieces. InchLamplight SymphonyInch offers long orchestrated passages, while InchDown the RoadInch shows their energy to the max. The music is truly a fascinating blend of prog rock and bar rock, making it one of the definite milestones of American prog. Kansas became popular during the 1970s with hits like InchCarry On Wayward SonInch and InchDust in the WindInch. Besides their well-known ballads they also recorded some impressive progressive pieces. The diversity of their music and immense energy of the band is the reason why they're still performing and recording. Album Tracks 1. Down the Road 2. Song for America 3. Lamplight Symphony 4. Lonely Street 5. The Devil Game 6. Incomudro-Hymn to the Atman
