Wesley Warner - Long Time Comin' - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Captured during the 2006 InchLes RetrouvaillesInch world tour, this live album reimagines Yann Tiersen's signature multi-instrumental compositions with a raw, rock-leaning edge powered by electric guitars and the haunting ondes Martenot. The performance features a blend of fan favorites and unreleased material, highlighted by guest vocal appearances from Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins and Diamond InchDiam'sInch.

For more than four decades, profoundly influential bluegrass band The Seldom Scene has shared it's undeniable talent, progressive repertoire, and creative spirit both in the studio and on stage. LONG TIME SELDOM SCENE features fresh interpretations of 16 oft-requested tunes and is the band's first studio album since the Grammy-nominated album SCENECHRONIZED in 2007. It's a family reunion in all the best ways, featuring the current and longest-running lineup, joined by founding members Tom Gray and John Starling and guests Chris Eldridge, Emmylou Harris, and Rickie Simpkins.

Thirteen years can put a hell of a lot of wear and tear on even the hardiest of rock 'n' roll bands. But don't be fooled by all those hundreds of thousands of miles on Micky & the Motorcars' odometer pop the hood of Long Time Comin', the long-running Austin band's eighth album, and you'll find a brand-new engine, fine-tuned and good to run for at least as many more miles still ahead. And behind the wheel? Two brothers and founding members Micky Braun (lead vocals and guitar) and Gary Braun (guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and vocals) invigorated and supercharged by a transfusion of new blood from fresh recruits Josh Owen (lead guitar/pedal steel), Joe Fladger (bass), and Bobby Paugh (drums).
