Weta Workshop - Bronze Statue - Peanuts - Snoopy: First Beagle on the Moon - COLLECTIBLES - Multicolor

The beagle has landed! Snoopy’s done it! He’s the first beagle to land on the moon, and this SuperSize figure of Astronaut Snoopy commemorates a very special honor. During the Apollo missions of the 1960s, Charles M. Schulz gave NASA permission to use Snoopy on the Agency’s spaceflight safety materials. In the 50 years since, Snoopy has appeared on NASA safety posters, stickers, and has even flown to space as the Silver Snoopy pin – one of the highest forms of recognition a NASA employee can receive. Now Peanuts and NASA have entered into a Space Act Agreement, to work together to bring the joys of space exploration and STEM into the lives of the next generation. This poseable, soft vinyl figure stands 15” tall, features five points of articulation, wears a white NASA spacesuit, and includes a soft goods scarf. A clear helmet protects Snoopy’s face, and he comes with a flight safety pack accessory. Take flight with SuperSize Astronaut Snoopy and expand your Peanuts© collection. He’s got his aviator hat and goggles on—and his scarf, which is made of real red fabric—can trail in the wind as the Flying Ace takes a spin around the neighborhood. The figure sitting atop the blue tricycle is crafted from premium vinyl, and the trike is inspired by the vintage Japanese-style plastic and tin wind-up tricycle toys. Colorful wheel patterns match the color and pattern of the functioning bell, above the back tire. The internal wind-up mechanism drives the tricycle and rings the bell, so roll out the fun!
