The One Ring created for The Lord of the Ringstrilogy was designed and made by Jens Hansen - Gold and Silversmith of Nelson, New Zealand (Middle-earth). Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films. Weta is pleased to be working with Jens Hansen to produce The One Ring in gold plated Tungsten Carbide. It's crafted to the exact shape, thickness and proportions of the original movie prop.
