Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films of The Lord of the Rings™ trilogy. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt, model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment, or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work. The beacons blazed with ancient promise, beckoning to Rohan, and so they heeded the call. Before them, their comrades-in-arms endured the onslaught of the Dark Lord's minions, holding fast within their fortress. It was in this dire hour that King Théoden™ marshalled his forces, stirring the spirits of his kinfolk, condemning the shadow's oppression, and pronouncing their decree Death. This penultimate moment of majesty has been faithfully recreated here as a stunning sculptural masterpiece. Senior sculptor Mauro Santini worked wonders into every element of this collectible, from the imposing weight of the warhorse Snowmane™, about to burst forth with righteous fury, to the finely detailed leather armour of King Théoden, accented with brass plating and built for battle. King Théoden’s armour is a well-known example of the level of care and dedication that Weta Workshop put into realizing the world of Middle-earth, with the screen-used armour having been on display in our Weta Cave for many years, the intricacies of each and every feature viewed in all its glory by thousands of fans from around the globe. It was evident that this collectible demanded a similar level of excellence. As members of the same group that worked on these magnificent pieces over 20 years ago, our team was able to accurately and authentically recreate this glimpse of Middle-earth’s history—a sincere homage to an enduring legacy. There upon the narrow spine of the mountains, where shadows clung like cobwebs and the wind wailed through black stone, rose the Tower of Cirith Ungol. Hewn in an age of watchfulness by the men of Gondor ™, it had long since fallen into ruin and ruinous purpose, defiled by the hand of the Enemy. Rusted iron crowned its jagged crest; torn banners whispered of ancient honour lost. An ancient tower, reclaimed by shadow; reimagined by masters. Every brick, every crooked beam, every jagged parapet has been sculpted with the same level of artistry, worldbuilding, and reverence that defined the physical sets of the films. This collectible draws directly from the designs created for the screen, capturing the tension, texture, and mood of one of Middle-earth’s most haunting locations. Once a Gondorian watchtower, Cirith Ungol was overtaken and corrupted by the forces of Sauron; a clash of proud stonework and cruel additions of iron, leather, and timber. From its gnarled battlements to the grotesque Watchers who guard its gate, this environment is layered with storytelling, crafted to evoke the same wonder and dread fans felt when first seeing it on screen. A tangible echo of the trilogy that defined a generation, crafted for those who still believe in the magic of Middle-earth. Features Limited Edition of 750 Made primarily from polystone Depicts the fortress where Frodo™ was imprisoned and Samwise™ dared all to save him Me
