Do not purchase begin burning and bubbling up near the door and eroded within the first year. Talked with best buy they said call whirlpool and they basically said its out of the year range we cant help you. Horrible absolutely infuriating all of my apliances are whirlpool from my stove to my refrigerator now im stuck with this interior eye sore who know how much worse it will become. Avoid at all cost. Deteriorating inside sparks occasionally near light insode while in use and fogs up conpletely if your use it for more than 2min God forbid you want to warm something up for 5min

It's a good brand, it's a good choice because of the size and the many options that the large panel of buttons and controls has to use. I highly recommend it.

Honestly, I have been debating whether to return this microwave ever since I set it up. On the plus side - I’ve been without a microwave for 8 months, and this is a huge improvement over having No Microwave at all. It’s white inside and has an interior light, which I prefer over the dark interiors that so many microwaves currently have. On the not-so-good side - it takes up a lot of counter space in my small kitchen. Programming the time to cook is more complicated than I would expect. Also, the door must be pulled open from a handle underneath the bottom of the door - and I have not yet mastered opening the door without scraping my knuckles on the countertop. It’s a Whirlpool, so I know it’s a quality item. I do wish I could have found a smaller microwave that was light and bright inside and out, easy to program and open the door, and made by a good company.

Felt like this microwave is super big after taking it out of the box. Very bulky. No handle to open door, just an indentation on bottom of microwave to pull open.

I read the reviews on this. I was hoping it would be a great microwave (better than our last one). Which it does the work, to an extent, but I feel like I'm heating stuff up double the time. It'll due for now, it works, but not how I was expecting. I think next time I'll just try a different brand. Everyone is different and has their own opinions. The other thing I don't like about it, is it takes longer to defrost, I'm not too happy about the buttons and how to warm something up. My husband even said its annoying.

Love that I can mute the end time, wish it was easier to set cook time.

This microwave is decent in size but with no number pad on the unit you cannot input an amount of time without pressing the +30 second button a bunch of times. This really kills the value of this microwave especially if you need to cook something for 30 minutes or more!!!!

I like the microwave. Getting use to the mechanics of using it, entering the time, etc. is different, but it works fine. It does take a minute to get use to it.

I am very happy with this purchase I was waiting until it went on sale and it works great it's amazing it's beautiful the one thing I found and my family members are having a hard time with is there is no number pad on it but we are all used to the number pad. The one feature that I know everyone enjoys is that you can mute the microwave -very cool!

The Whirlpool - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave with 900-Watt Cooking Power is fantastic! Cooks and heats food perfectly and has plenty of power to get the job done weather you're just reheating leftovers or cooking a meal. The size is just right as well, it doesn't take up the entire counter top and is roomy enough to hold taller items. This is a great microwave at a very affordable price!

Great microwave. The microwave is very spacious. I enjoy the mute feature of the microwave as well as the lock feature and keep warm feature! All in all this was a great purchase!

The buttons are very different from microwaves that I am used to I did have to use the instructions but the way the microwave works is one of the best microwaves I ever bought it does take up space it's pretty big

Maybe it's just what we received, but this item was received via shipping damaged and worked sporadically which we could not explain. Top of unit appeared damaged from shipping with a dent, didn't' notice much else. We did put this unit in a confined space and it worked sometimes but mostly not. Unfortunately we passed the return period and threw it out and bought another larger more powerful that could fit in same confined space which worked out just fine for us!
