The microwave is satisfactory. Very quiet and fit the suggested trim kit exactly as described. The only improvement that I feel could be made is to have the key menu pad light up. For us older people even in light it is sometimes hard to see the menu options. The rotating turntable helps cook food evenly all around. The digital clock LED will light up the kitchen at night.

We had bought a previous version of this model for one primary reason and that was a perfect fit for the cabinet. Only required a little trim. The previous one died twice. First time a interlock failed at about 3 years. This time we decided to replace verse repair. We dislike the color of the display. The earlier model matches the other appliances, this one does not. However the new display seems to be sharper. As the back of the microwave is agaist the wall it does not move around like past microwaves. Photo of how well it fits was posted with this review.

This Whirlpool microwave has exceeded my expectations! It heats food evenly and quickly, and the 1.6 cu. ft. capacity is perfect for everything from small plates to larger dishes. The stainless steel finish looks modern and blends well with my kitchen decor. It's also very easy to use with intuitive controls and helpful presets. Quiet, efficient, and great value for the price — I’m very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it!
