Consider another unit
Bought this unit to replace the Insignia I retired last summer. Thought that the price point would result in a unit that would be quieter and cooler. Unfortunately, the unit did not meet either expectation. The unit cools, but it doesn’t achieve the desired effect in the room (12x18 feet) that we have the unit in. The window attachment was poorly designed as the hose attachment is too large when it is oriented with the outlet at the bottom. I had to place air condition seals on both sides of the exhaust. Bought the warranty on this item and will likely return for an Insignia. The sleek and modern design of the unit is appreciated.
