Q: why is there a small hole above the handle on the right side
A: That is not a hole, it is the indicator light that tells you when the dishwashing running (green) and when it has finished (blue). Good luck.
A: I don't believe the dishwasher has adjustable legs. However, it comes with detachable wheels. Based on the specifications provided on Whirlpool's own product page, the dishwasher height becomes 33.5 inches with the wheels removed. For the cabinet opening dimensions, it states 34 inches is the required minimum as measured from the lowest point on the underside of the countertop, which may be reduced to 33.5 inches (851 mm) by removing the wheels and perforated area of insulation (blanket) on dishwasher.
