We like the space in the top drawer for taller things like my tall wine glasses. The machine is very efficient. We love the short cycle with hot water, no heat to dry!

Seems to clean well. Still getting used to longer cycles than I am used to but seems many new dishwashers are that way now. Still experimenting with different cycles but so far I have found I don’t really need the dry cycle as dishes are mostly dry at the end of washing and I just crack open the door to finish drying a little bit. The stainless steel interior seems to retain enough heat to get them mostly dry without the dry cycle so luckily the dry cycle can be turned off (and reduces cycle length). One downside is the description on Best Buy site said it had an adjustable top rack and it does not so since the top tack is tall, it is lower down above the bottom rack so I have one pan I now have trouble fitting in the bottom rack but everything else seems to fit. Also the dark silverware rack is hard to get used to as it can be hard to see it when loading as the black rack against the stainless steel interior is really dark (a lighter colored silverware tray would be easier to see to load). I also added a piece of my old silverware tray from my old dishwasher to the top rack to hold small things when I need it since there is no place to put small things on the top rack. Also dishwasher is very quiet.I think overall I picked a good dishwasher.

We have had this dishwasher installed for approximately one week and have used it approximately four times. PROS: Dishes come out sparkling clean Completely dry No water spots with the sample of Cascade liquid in dispenser Easy to use Extremely quiet Cons: Tines are far apart which makes it difficult to load our dishes without having them wobble around Top rack is great for large pans, etc but space for glasses and cups is minimal and can only be loaded on the extreme left or right side of the dishwasher otherwise they fall over.. Small desert plates fall over Not enough tines to hold items in place, or if they are there, too far apart to secure them Cutlery basket takes up the whole left bottom side of the bottom rack and is not convenient as you have to reach way into the back of the dishwasher to get some items in. (It is in three pieces, so the two smaller baskets can be detached.) The door is very tight and has to be pushed down to lye flat so the bottom rack can be pulled out. (Maybe in time the spring will loosen a bit.) Maybe it’s just me but I’m not crazy about the way this dishwasher is designed. We had our Maytag for almost 20 years and it was designed much better than this one. (Or maybe I was just used to everything about it, the two small shelves that flipped down so you could lean wine glasses so they wouldn’t break, or lay your sharp knives down on so they wouldn’t get dull, the adjustable tines on the bottom rack so you could fit larger bowls. We needed a dishwasher that was in stock in white and wanted a stainless steel tub..this was available and the reviews were mostly great so we purchased it. Because we are in our seventies and have medical issues, we prefer to keep out of stores at this time so we have had to purchase appliances online for the first time and if I had to do it over again I probably would have chosen another dishwasher.

Love this dishwasher - it has a nice stainless interior and is very quiet compared to the original model that was delivered. It washes and dries very well and quietly.

It cleans the dishes well enough, which is the main objective. Given a choice, however, I would not buy this model again. Several reasons. The top rack is poorly designed. Items placed in it tend to fall over when you slide the rack in and out. Further it lacks the little cup shelves that some models have that fold up or down on the top rack for additional short items. Also a problem: the soap dish has a poorly designed little cover. When you try to close it after putting in soap it often pops right open. Takes several tries to get it to stay closed. I bought this model only because it was the only one I could find in any nearby store available in stock with a white front. I can't really rate dry quality because I never let it dry. When it is done washing I open the door--surprise!....the dishes dry! Saves energy.

Really like the dishwasher! Runs very quietly, cleans well, and I would recommend it. But be prepared for 2 things that I didn't focus on in my pre-purchase research. 1) the normal cycle runs for nearly 4 hours and I can't fathom why that is making it more efficient as they say, and 2) the stainless steel interior (which I love), along with the dark grey racks and silverware holder, make the interior very dark. I'm getting used to it, but it might be better with an interior light.

Cleans & dries well. Very quiet. I am not thrilled with the dish rack design. Taller items do not stay upright. Utensil basket is not user friendly. Otherwise it works well.

It is easy to load and use. Very Quiet! Cleans dishes very well. I just hope it lasts. So far, I highly recommend after 2 months of use. Installer did a great job!

The Whirlpool dishwasher is a great product. The dishes are very clean and the sound is quiet. The racks are adjustable and it's easy to load and unload the dishes. I've cleaned both glassware and pot and pans. Great dishwasher!

Very quiet. I do think the cycle runs a little long. But dishes sparkle coming out.

Everything seems to be running great. Dishes come clean with less rinsing which is nice. The racks are a bit different than what I am used to but I am adapting. One small issue is that the silverware racks have tops on them for individual placement of silverware and the holes are too small for our silverware. So we have just flipped the tops open. (The tops don't seem to be removable.)

Our 25 year old dishwasher was reaching its end of life so we shopped around and choose the Whirlpool Dishwasher with the Tall Top Rack for our kitchen. Installation was breeze, except we noted that the new dishwasher wasn't relieved in the back as the previous one was so therefore it isn't flush with the cabinets because of the rear electrical socket. Other than that, we are happy so far with the job it does on our dishes and love the quietness.

Very quiet! Great setting choices and everything is super clean! Sleek look too. Runs for longer than I’m used to but it’s doing a great job.

Easy to install, cleans well, quiet for the price!

Dishwasher does a great job. I didn’t realize what an upgrade it was to go from an entry level one to this one. You don’t have to run it overnight when everyone is sleeping. It is super quiet. This one cleans better on the quick setting than our old one did running a full cycle.

I love this dishwasher because it ONLY has 2 levels and therefore actually holds everything. It cleans and dries great and is quiet enough for me. It also has a light to tell me when it’s finished. I hope it lasts forever!

Our new Whirlpool dishwasher is replacing a 15 year old Whirlpool dishwasher and we are so pleased we chose this brand again. This model does a very good job cleaning and drying our dishes and utensils. It's very quiet also! We highly recommend this appliance.

We wanted a white washer and thus we did not have very many choices. The first one we picked did not work for us because the controls were across the front and just leaning against them would turn on the washer. This one has the controls across the top which is great for us. It is a little louder than the first one but not enough to bother us. One great feature is that it actually has a heating coil located in the bottom, so it does a wonderful job of drying, the first unit did not have a heating coil. The cleaning options are clear and simple and it does a wonderful job of cleaning the dishes. It does not have a third top rack but that was not a deal breaker for us. Overall we are pleased with this purchase.

Very happy with the Quality of this Machine. Deep rack on top us more important than a third rack to us. Cleans well drys well and is quiet.
