Lights are super bright and light up cooking area very well. Fan easily clears smoke steam and odors very well while also being surprisingly quiet. Installation was pretty straight forward and easy enough if you have mechanical knowledge. Does not include the tubing that goes through the wall to the outside but the damper it comes with seems to work pretty well. Looks great, definitely a nice upgrade to the cabinet/over the range microwave we had before.

Honestly purchased this item because it was the only hood range available at the time of my kitchen remodel. Every item was sold out due to the pandemic remodeling craze. But now I’m glad I purchased. It has the same look, feel and accomplishes exactly what I need. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles but is all that you need; light and fan (low and high). Good value for the money. My other appliances are LG stainless steel and this Whirlpool stainless steel is very similar if not exact to my other appliances. I had it professionally installed with my other remodel items so I can’t speak to the ease of the installation. FYI - I had the contractors fix the placement of the hood range. It is Contactless delivery was perfect. I was kept updated and reminded several times of the delivery. Love Best Buy!

Very easy to install and it comes with all the hardware and a filter. Once installed it looks very nice with all my other appliances. It’s not as quiet as I would of liked but for the price I think it’s a steal! I would recommend it to others.

I really wanted a hood with a chimney for the appearance in our new kitchen. This hood looks fantastic. It was easy to install and vent. Read the instructions carefully, buy the required additional parts and pay close attention to the template. Extremely happy with the lights and fan functionality.

This is a really nice hood but the packaging left a little to be desired. Unfortunately the filter screen and chimney came damaged. My contractor installed it for us in our new home and we didn’t have a good opportunity to take a look at it before installation. Now that it is up, we are happy to have it but disappointed to see the damage that it has on it. Again, we like the hood and it functions really well, but it’s going to now cost us more money to get the chimney replaced
