You get a very nice looking product for a very good price!!

All the other range hoods I've ever used have been so loud you can't have conversation while cooking much less hear yourself think. This range hood is pretty quiet, while keeping all odors out of the house. I barely notice it's on. Very satisfied!

the ballast is bad and had to be replaced immediately. I prefer appliances to be very very quiet- this is a little loud for me, but much quieter than others, so overall I am happy with this. I would recomment it to anyone needing a range hood- very good looking, over the stove.

I ordered this hood after reading reviews like the one I am writing. I do enjoy the hood but BEWARE what they don't tell you is the $180-$220 in additional costs to install it and that if after the initial install fee and with a cabinet. If you want it to look like the picture $800-$1,000 extra. It also took (I ca t make this up) FIVE separate appointments to get it installed! Most subcontractors did NOT know how to install it. It was only after the original subcontractor called another subcontractor who called a third one that we finally got it installed! Do not buy your external range hoods from Best Buy. Please learn from my mistake.

I am so happy with my purchase. My kitchen looks amazing with this hood up. Everyone that comes in my kitchen compliments it.!
