A: Hi KitchenRedo, this unit is rated for ceiling heights 9'2 - 9'6 inches depending on if you are venting or recirculating. If additional height is needed you can add a chimney extension kit part number EXTKIT18FS. We hope this helps!
Q: Which model # hood extension would you use for this Hood? 9ft ceilings
A: The extension linked in the previous post is incorrect the width is way to big on that extension. the correct duct extension isnt sold on bestbuy.com the model number is W10337357. This model number can be found inside the installation guide that comes with the hood.

A: Model GXW7330DXS is a wall mount canopy range hood only. This cannot be installed in an Island install. If you need one for an Island installation then look into model GXI6536DXS which is a 36 inch hood.
