    very reliable

    We have been purchasing this filter for our whirlpool fridge for many years. I appreciate they have not modified the design or changed it in some radical way making it unusable (you know makers do that all the time and leave the packaging the same so consumers dont suspect a thing - then you get it home and Whammy) Tried and true, reliable Quality!

    oem replacement

    my only complaint is it is a bit more expensive than i'd like, but other than that it works as described. it provides clean tasting water. i live in nyc and we have higher mineral water, so the filter appears to clog up and slow down the water in my fridge faster than normal. i end up replacing them twice as fast. you kinda have no choice when your fridge uses a certain kind of filter, so its good best buy sells these things online.
